New Blog

Well, seeing as that it isn't summer anymore and I am no longer in the big city, I decided to keep with blogspot but get a new blog. So, welcome!

These past few weeks back in Richmond have been great. Being back down south has been great for me. It's definately nice to be around the people I love---Brian, my roomie and my friends, my coworkers. My new apartment is fab and after I got my room all set up I definatly enjoy it a lot more!!! It's also been nice to have people over. I really like it that Jess has a boyfriend now so we have another couple to do things with. This past thursday we grilled up some steaks and make a bunch of food up, then sat around until midnight playing monopoly. This was followed the next day with a trip to the barbeque place up the road and hours of phase ten. It was great.

Jess and I have been busy planning our first big get together at our place. We're hosting a creative memories party and are sooooo excited. It should be fun, we are expecting a lot of people and the lady who is our consultant is super nice.

On another note, I've decided to take this semester off to take a break and catch up on some things. First, I only have a year left of school before I'm in the real world for real with even MORE bills (student loans), so I want to pay off my credit cards for good. Second, I really don't even feel like I've had a break at all. This summer was so hectic I need some time to wind down, especially with the holidays coming up. It sucks though, because everyone is gearing up and getting their binders and school supplies and I'm.....not. But I did goto the scrapbook store and Michaels the other day and put in some applications, Michaels seemed pretty interested so hopefully I'll hear back from them soon, this way I'll have a second job to help rake in some moo-lah.

So, that is my update in a nutshell. Hope to post some new pics up soon!

Let me tell you, no reason to be in a rush to get to the bills part and no school. That must have been a difficult decision to make, but let me tell you from experience that being out of school isn't any more fun than being in school, its just completely and totally different. I hope you enjoy your semester off!
